Obama smears McCain with Limbaugh quote taken out of context

Yes, Obama went there.  It seemed only like yesterday when Obama told the media that McCain was running a sleazy campaign.   Oh, it was yesterday.

Obama is singing an entirely different tune today.  His Spanish ad has the following quotes appear:

“…stupid and unskilled Mexicans”
—Rush Limbaugh

“You shut your mouth or you get out!”
—Rush Limbaugh

Pretty harsh there, Barry. It’s too bad that anyone who listens to Limbaugh knows that he totally disagrees with McCain on, well, everything. Let’s pretend that they did agree — even then the ad is still sleazy because Limbaugh’s quote was taken out of context:

“If you are unskilled and uneducated, your job is going south. Skilled workers, educated people are going to do fine ’cause those are the kinds of jobs NAFTA is going to create. If we are going to start rewarding no skills and stupid people, I’m serious, let the unskilled jobs that take absolutely no knowledge whatsoever to do — let stupid and unskilled Mexicans do that work.”

I understand that sleazy politics are part of the game, but why would you get down in the gutter to appeal to a demographic that is already in your corner? It doesn’t seem like the ends justify the means or something.
